Terms of Use

These Terms set out the basis on which you use this website and buy products from Inspiring Ventures ("we", "us"). By using the site or completing a purchase you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site or make a purchase.

1. Who we are

Inspiring Ventures is a UK trading name providing compliance training and documentation products for estate agencies and property sourcing firms.

2. What we sell

We currently sell the following product categories:

• Written guides — downloadable PDF templates and checklists (e.g. the £80 Written AML Procedures Guide).
• Document generators — interactive wizards that produce a firm-specific Word document from answers you supply (e.g. the £280 Bespoke Procedures Wizard).
• Training courses — video-based training with workbook, knowledge check and signed declaration.
• White Label licences — editable source files with permission to rebrand and resell to your own clients under specific conditions (see section 8).

Every product page sets out what is included. Descriptions are written to reflect what is delivered in practice; where we have missed or misstated something, the product page controls.

3. What we are NOT selling

Inspiring Ventures products are compliance education and document drafting. They are not:

• Legal advice. We are not a firm of solicitors.
• Regulated financial advice.
• An HMRC AML supervision or registration service. You remain responsible for your own registration.
• A substitute for appointing a Nominated Officer (MLRO) within your firm.
• A substitute for your Nominated Officer reviewing and signing off every adopted document.

Where you buy a document-generating product (e.g. the Procedures Wizard), the output is a first draft based on the information you provide. You are responsible for reviewing it, adapting it to your firm's actual operations, and having your Nominated Officer approve it before adoption.

4. Orders and payment

Orders are placed through our checkout provider, SamCart. Prices are shown in GBP and include VAT where applicable. The order is complete when you receive our confirmation email and payment is taken. If we cannot fulfil an order (e.g. the product is temporarily unavailable, or we suspect fraud) we will cancel it and refund you in full.

5. Delivery

Delivery is digital. On completing checkout you are either:

• Redirected to a download page, or
• Emailed a secure link to the product or to the wizard that generates it.

If you do not receive delivery within an hour of purchase, check your spam folder and then email us. We will resend.

6. Refunds and cooling-off

Because our products are digital and delivered immediately on purchase, your statutory right of cancellation under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply once delivery has begun — you agree to this when you tick the delivery-consent box at checkout.

• Before any download or wizard use: full refund within 14 days of purchase on written request.
• After download or wizard use: no refund as a general rule. We will consider exceptions on a case-by-case basis (e.g. if the product is materially different from what was advertised).
• Training courses: full refund within 14 days provided you have not completed more than one module. Once the knowledge check is submitted, no refund.
• White Label licences: once the source files are delivered, no refund. This is because the licence gives you ongoing use of reusable material.

7. Your responsibilities

When you use our products:

• You will provide accurate information (about your firm, your MLRO, your HMRC registration number, etc.) when using the wizard or completing training.
• You will have your Nominated Officer review and sign off any adopted policy before relying on it.
• You will not use our products to provide regulated advice to others unless you hold the appropriate regulatory permissions.
• You will comply with your own obligations under MLR 2017, POCA 2002 and the UK sanctions regime. Buying our products does not transfer any of those obligations to us.

8. White Label Licences

The White Label Licence allows you to rebrand our training course or wizard output and resell it to your own clients, subject to these conditions:

• One firm, one licence. The licence covers use by a single firm or corporate group under common ownership. It is not transferable.
• No sub-licensing. You may sell the rebranded output to end users, but you may not grant white-label rights onward.
• Attribution and liability. The rebranded content is sold under your name. You are responsible for what your clients receive, for answering their support queries, and for their compliance outcomes. We are not a party to your contracts with your clients.
• Content currency. The licence includes the files as supplied at purchase. If MLR or sanctions guidance changes materially, an updated version may be offered to you at a refresh price; keeping your rebranded version current is your responsibility.

9. Intellectual property

Except where a White Label Licence is purchased, all content on this website and in our products remains our intellectual property. You receive a non-transferable licence to use the content within your firm for the purposes for which it was supplied.

You may not republish, resell, or systematically extract our content. Copying template wording into your firm's own AML policy for the firm's own use is expressly permitted and encouraged — that is what the product is for.

10. Disclaimers and liability

Our products are supplied "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that any specific compliance outcome will follow from using them. Regulatory compliance is situation-specific and depends on facts about your firm that are outside our knowledge.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, and liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Subject to the above, our total liability to you arising from any single product is limited to the price you paid for that product.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — including lost profits, lost opportunities, regulatory penalties levied on you, or reputational harm — whether arising in contract, tort, or otherwise.

11. Changes to products and these Terms

We may update products from time to time (e.g. to reflect MLR guidance changes). Your access rights to the version you purchased are not affected.

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page. Material changes take effect 14 days after posting. Continuing to use the site after that date is your acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any dispute arising under them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
